Unlike traditional heavy balms, emulsified tallow skincare combines water-based hydration with nourishing lipids to help skin feel softer, lighter and more comfortable throughout the day. Our Qi Creme is our most lightweight creation yet
02. Less Greasy Feel
By blending tallow into a cream emulsion, the formula absorbs more easily into the skin instead of sitting heavily on the surface, creating a more breathable finish. Our Jing Creme helps to nourish without the heaviness.

Scientifically backed tallow skincare
Our founder, Daria, has a background in Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Human Biology and Physiology & Chemistry. Apart from her official qualifications, Daria has poured countless hours into skincare chemistry research. Our formulations are carefully crafted to mimic our ancestral roots, whilst using modern science to optimise the effectiveness and delivery of actives to the skin.
Triple purified & 100% grass-fed, chemical-free suet tallow
Our beef tallow is rendered in-house and sourced from sustainable farms across Australia. The cows spend their days on the pastures in the sunlight, living healthy, happy, stress-free lives. We only use suet in the production of our tallow, which is the prized fat around the kidneys/organs of the cattle.
Our beef tallow undergoes a triple purification process. This ensures all impurities are removed and the tallow is skin-grade. We use filtered water and Australian sea salt in our rendering process. Our process is also plastic-free, where we utilise medical grade silicone, glass and stainless steel.
No Essential Oils
We do not add any essential oils to our products.
Whilst it is a nice idea to replace synthetic fragrances with EOs in your skin care, in reality, they can still wreak havoc. They still contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and can cause irritation in most people when applied topically (even diluted).
Essential oils are highly concentrated aromatic compounds, but they do not contain the full spectrum of nutrients and whole-plant constituents found in complete botanical extracts.
EOs are also highly unsustainable. To make a single essential oil, can take thousands of plants. This means industrial scale agriculture and mono cropping. This takes a huge toll on our soil and depletes it of essential nutrients.
Instead, we use whole botanicals
Essential oils are only a small piece of the puzzle when it comes to plant medicine. Our products contain whole plant constituents.
We source the highest quality, mostly organic Chinese Herbs for our formulations and infuse these in-house into our formulations.
An essential oil is only 1% of the entire plant. When using the whole plant, you also benefit from its alkaloids, flavonoids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements, and other active compounds.
Our botanical and Chinese herbal extracts are created in-house in small batches rather than purchased pre-made from cosmetic suppliers.

Chinese herbal extracts are traditionally used to support balance, nourishment and skin vitality. At Yinera, we create many of our extracts in-house using herbs such as peony root, reishi, chrysanthemum, liquorice and dang gui to bring Traditional Chinese Medicine inspired skincare into modern formulations for barrier support and hydration.
Tallow contains skin-compatible lipids that help nourish and soften the skin.
